भूगोल [ संपादित करें ] मनाली  32.16°N 77.10°E [5]  पर अवस्थित है। यह शहर 1,800 मी॰ (5,900 फीट) से ऊपरी "प्राचीन मनाली" भाग, 2,000 मी॰ (6,600 फीट) की ऊंचाई तक फैला हुआ है। जनसांख्यिकी [ संपादित करें ] 2001 के अनुसार  भारतीय  जनगणना [6]  के अनुसार मनाली की जनसंख्या 6265 थी। आबादी का 64% पुरुष और 36% महिलाएं हैं। मनाली की औसत साक्षरता दर 74% है, जो राष्ट्रीय औसत 59.5% से ज्यादा है: पुरुष साक्षरता 80% और महिला साक्षरता 63% है। मनाली में जनसंख्या का 9% भाग 6 वर्ष की आयु से कम हैं। मौसम (जलवायु) [ संपादित करें ] मनाली का मौसम जाड़े में प्रबल रूप से ठंडा और गर्मी के दिनों में हल्का ठंडा रहता है। तापक्रम की सीमा वर्ष भर 4 °से.
